Check-Ups

I took both girls to the doctor for a check-up.  They are healthy and growing!  He said Ella is almost too long for her infant seat and Kylie is too light for a booster seat.  There goes my plan for putting Ella into Kylie's carseat!  Here are the stats:

High Chair

This was Ella's first time in the high chair! She is learning to eat from a spoon, if you can call it eating. Most of the food just ends up on her face, I am not sure she actually "eats" anything.

Galena Creek Park

Kylie's pre-school class went to Galena Creek Park for a field trip. The kids had a great time climbing on rocks and looking for animals.

ELLA

Ella is almost 7 months old. This is going by way too fast. She is getting her 2 front, bottom teeth. Ella is almost always happy and smiling. She has recently discovered her LOUD voice and likes to be heard. She scoots around on the floor, mostly in circles or backwards on the wood floor. She is so sweet and always makes us smile.

Sisters

Kylie is such a wonderful BIG sister!! She adores Ella and is very sweet to her. She loves to hold her and runs to greet her in her crib when she hears Ella is awake. Kylie reads to Ella and brings her many toys to play with. Kylie makes this weird sound and Ella laughs every time. They are so cute together!

Pre-school

Lake Almanor

We enjoyed 2 wonderful days this weekend at Lake Almanor celebrating Sue and Steve's 40th wedding anniversary!! Congrats on 40 years, a long and loving marriage is a great reason to celebrate! We had good entertainment, tons of food, and great company. Kylie loved swimming in the lake and playing with Thomas and Tyler. I always enjoy swimming and sunshine, and just getting out of town was fabulous. Matt was forced to play golf, poor guy.

Kylie's New Adventure

Kylie started pre-school last week. She loves going to school. Kylie was thrilled to get to pick out a folder and a backpack - both featuring Disney princesses (as if there was even another option).
She was a little reserved the first day, but warmed up quickly. She never shed a tear and says good-bye every morning and that she will miss me. How cute!

Ella - 4 months

Ella has mastered rolling from her back to her stomach. She likes to buzz her lips together while drooling and spit everywhere. Ella is still full of big smiles and seems very happy.

Kylie LOVES the water. She would swim all day, everyday. She is practicing how to swim on her own, we are getting close...if only she could breathe underwater.
